Boat Bottom Blasting

M&M Painting Contractors will perform boat bottom blasting. They use soda blasting to clean and strip the bottom of boats without damaging the gel and/or barrier coat.

Boat Bottom Blasting

Soda blasting is a popular method for cleaning and stripping surfaces, including the bottom of boats. It uses sodium bicarbonate (baking soda) particles propelled at high velocity to remove contaminants, old paint, or fouling from boat hulls without damaging the underlying surface. We have become experts in boat bottom blasting which allows us to quickly strip the bottom paint without damaging the gel and/or barrier coat, and most significantly, without leaving a mess.
